GeoMetrics served as the geotechnical engineer of record and QA/QC testing firm for the 2200 acre commercial and residential development. The project was extensive with multiple high and mid rise structures, two golf courses, bridges, stabilization for waterway embankments, a marina and miles of roadways. (5 year project)

North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex

The NMB Park and Sports Complex offers a diverse selection of sporting event facilities that are easily accessible and can accommodate a range of activities – such as baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, quidditch, and flag football. Facilities include 4 regulation youth baseball/collegiate softball fields, 2 regulation high school/collegiate baseball fields, 8 regulation soccer/lacrosse fields, 7 picnic shelters, amphitheatre and a 25 acre lake for water-related activities.

Multi-County Park Expansion of Myrtle Beach, SC

GeoMetrics served as the geotechnical engineer of record and QA/QC testing firm for Burroughs and Chapin, the largest land owner in Myrtle Beach, having over 20,000 acres of undeveloped property along the Grand Strand. Under the expansion, GeoMetrics provided geotechnical and engineering services for many residential and commercial developments within the Multi-County Park designation which included a 200 acre mall, a 350 acre commercial resort complex and countless retail and commercial centers which included large box dealers like WalMart, Sam’s Club, Lowes, Home Depot, Costco, Best Buy, just to name a few. (8 year project)

Myrtle Beach Grand Park

The Grand Park Athletic Complex features seven large multipurpose fields and two youth fields. All have synthetic turf and lights and are designed to accommodate a variety of sports, including baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer and football. The complex also has a six-tunnel batting cage, plenty of parking and three towers for restrooms and concessions. Grand Park is adjacent to The Market Common, Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium and a roller hockey rink.
